• Behavioral tracking - We don't track your writing habits or patterns
• Device information - Beyond basic browser compatibility checks

How AI Processing Works

When you use AI features (suggestions, autocomplete, grammar correction), here's what happens:

Third-Party AI Providers

We use the following AI providers through Vercel AI Gateway:

• Anthropic
• OpenAI
• Cerebras
• Exa - For finding related articles (when you use the research feature)

Local Storage

The following information is stored locally in your browser (not on our servers):

• Your writing content and documents
• App preferences (font size, theme, AI settings)
• Dismissed suggestions to avoid repetition
• Writing context and style preferences
• Usage statistics (writing streak, word counts)

You can clear this data anytime through your browser settings or by clearing the app's local storage.

Analytics and Monitoring

We use privacy-focused analytics to improve the app:

• Vercel Analytics - Basic page views and performance metrics (no personal data)
• Vercel Speed Insights - App performance monitoring (no content tracking)
• Error monitoring - Technical errors to fix bugs (no user content included)

These services collect only technical metrics necessary for app functionality and performance improvements.

Data Security

• All communications use HTTPS encryption
• No user accounts or authentication systems to compromise
• Local storage is protected by browser security policies
• AI requests are processed through secure, enterprise-grade providers
